When Your Own Design Language Stands Out

Good news!
The Finnish Copyright Council has assessed byMinta’s jewellery design in detail – from materials and colours to proportions, composition and overall impression.
The assessment was unequivocally positive for byMinta: our jewellery clearly stood out in our favour. The Council examined the shapes and proportions of the jewellery, the use of materials and colours, and the way the different elements come together as a whole.
In jewellery design, copyright protection depends on meeting the threshold of originality. What matters is originality, independent creative choices and the overall expression created by those choices.
These are precisely the qualities the Finnish Copyright Council examined in byMinta’s jewellery – and our designs stood out.
Every byMinta design begins with an original idea and our own design choices. Our distinctive signature comes from the way shapes, colours, materials and proportions are brought together in the finished piece.
The first byMinta blueberry earrings were created back in 2012. Since then, they have been followed by hundreds of our own designs – berries, flowers, plants and entirely new forms. A distinctive design language isn’t created overnight. Ours has been taking shape, piece by piece, for more than a decade.
Originality isn’t just a marketing word to us. You can see it in our jewellery.
